The First Military Museum in the Country

The 1886 floor plans show a room specially designated to become a museum. This preceeds any such attempts in the history of Canadian Museums. The author is most likely Henry James, the offical architect with the Public Works Department who oversaw the plans and building of the Infantry School Corps (as it was known at the time).
