Cataraqui Cemetery National Historic Site

  • Overview

Incorporated in 1850, Cataraqui Cemetery continues as an active burial ground and is the final resting place of many prominent Canadians.  Recognized for its great natural beauty, the garden cemetery is like no other in Canada.  Sir John A. Macdonald's burial site is also a National Historic Site of Canada.
