Mount Pleasant Cemetery Tour

Join us at the historic Mount Pleasant Cemetery for a walking tour of this beautiful and serene site. Our Historical Interpreters will tell you about the history of cemetery, the architecture of graves and monuments and will provide information about the culture of death and mourning during the Victorian era. This tour is done with the permission of Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Registration required
This tour will take place in the historic Mount Pleasant Cemetery where guests are expected to meet at the entrance off of Riverside Drive. An Eldon House Historical Interpreter will be there to greet tour groups.
Mask or face covering are required.
Social distancing measures of 6 feet will be maintained between staff and fellow participants.
Please wear comfortable shoes and prepare for the weather (rain or shine).
Not suitable for children under 12.
In order to participate you will be required to answer a few screening questions upon your arrival to ensure the safety of both staff and fellow participants.
Please be aware that the walking tour could be postponed depending on pandemic developments.
