Using 42 reconstructed historical structures, a native camp and a farm, this living history site explores the development of the North West Company and Canada's fur trade. The site has over 8,000 European and First Nations artifacts and replicas, dating mainly from 1803 to 1821. Costumed interpreters and artisans provide tours, daily demonstrations and dramas. Special programs are presented every weekend. Education programs, overnight programs and artisan workshops are offered.
