Heritage House Museum

This classically styled Victorian home depicts the lifestyle of a prominent mill owner's family living in Smiths Falls in the 1860s. Situated on a picturesque portion of the Rideau Canal, the Museum features eight furnished period rooms, unique mirror image facade, special exhibit gallery, a two-storey privy, spacious gardens and picnic area. Special events, educational programming and exhibitions take place throughout the year. Guided group tours by costumed interpreters can be pre-arranged.
