Pump House Steam Museum

A fine example of Victorian architecture, Kingston's first water pumping station was enlarged in 1889. The building contains restored cross-compound engines, the steam launch Phoebe, the famous Jechel zero-gauge working model train (originally part of The Friendly Giant TV show), the Gordon C. Leitch Discovery Centre for science and technology and Trillium Activity Room for educational programming. Guided tours are available in English and French. Please book in advance and cancel at least 48 hours before scheduled date.
