ROM staff in Toronto wave to onlooking delegates via a live Skype session.
Session Description
Take a practical look at offering interactive video-conference based prorgams for K-12 and/or public audiences. Drawing from the ROM's successful pilot program, Julian Kingston will outline the practical steps needed to trial your own video-conference lessons. Everything from technical considerations and the gear required to best practices for engaging your audience over video will be covered. Common pitfalls and low-cost alternative solutions will be addressed as well. The session will include a live demonstration of a ROM virtual visit with audience members invited to participate in real time.
