The subjects listed below are part of the review. The revised curricula “will enable students to become responsible, active citizens within the diverse communities to which they belong.” (Social Studies Grades 1-6, History & Geography Grades 7-8 Curriculum, 2013, p. 6) Importance has been placed on the disciplinary skills of Historical and Geographical thinking, critical thinking and inquiry.
