April 7, 2020: In light of the global pandemic of COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone the Museums in Historic Buildings (Facilities Management) Certificate in Museum Studies course originally scheduled for May 6-8, 2020 at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum in Kitchener.
 
We have tentatively rescheduled the course for November 4-6, 2020 at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum in Kitchener.

Participants will acquire the knowledge and techniques required to manage a museum within the context of an historic building, and to care for the historic building as an artifact. The objective of this course is to familiarize participants with the activities and concerns involved in the careful conservation of the historic building, particularly as they relate to the building’s use as a museum.
