Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and In order to reduce the amount of overnight travel required of participants and instructors, this course will be delivered in a blended format that includes seven weeks of online learning starting on October 12, 2020 followed by a one day in-class workshop on November 30, 2020. The Education and Public Programs course provides a learner-centered approach to the planning and design of engaging and relevant learning experiences for diverse audiences. Students will engage in hands-on and collaborative learning activities, connecting theory to practice while designing programming that responds to emerging trends and shifts in the museum field.
