Webinar: The Digital Strategy - Intention through Application

Name:
Webinar: The Digital Strategy - Intention through Application
Description:
With the vastly expanding world of technology, museums must be intentional in how they interact in the digital realm. As much as museums would like to do it all, it’s just not practical (or possible!). A strong digital strategy can help guide museums and help them prioritize their efforts and use their limited time and resources on initiatives that serve them and their communities best.

In this webinar, digital media expert Corey Timpson will introduce participants to digital strategy – what it is, why you need one, and how to use it. Corey will be joined by Mary-Katherine Whelan, Curator at the Amherstburg Freedom Museum, to help us think about the practical aspects of digital strategy for small museums. Participants will leave the webinar with a checklist to help them get started on their own museum digital strategy.

This project has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada.
