Need to Know
CMOG Standards
Strategic Plan Requirements

The OMA is aware of the March 11 announcement related to the CMOG program requiring submission of a Strategic Plan related to the Standards for Community Museums in Ontario for the upcoming CMOG application of June 2019. The OMA's understanding is that all applicants are required to submit their plans in 2019 though the majority of of applicants have complied with this requirement in recent years.

Some members have expressed concerns including lack of notice as the deadline for the CMOG Application is two months away and duplication of administrative work.

The OMA is following up on this recent information with the Ministry, and invites members to contact us with their feedback.
