May is Museum Month!
 
May is Museum Month is a program of the Ontario Museum Association and celebrated by Ontario’s 700+ museums, galleries, and heritage sites. 
 
May is Museum Month is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of museums to their communities and to kick-off the summer tourism season!
 
Participate in May is Museum Month to:
  • Promote your museum to a wide audience
  • Promote museums in your area as vital tourism assets
  • Celebrate the kick-off of the summer tourism season!
 
How to Get Involved:

Share your events: 
Post May events including seasonal openings and special offers in your museum's Discover Ontario Museums Listing. (Here's how: User's Guide)

The OMA draws from these event listings for inclusion in press releases, social media, and more! 

Get Social: 
Download the Social Media Kit for sample posts, facts, and tips on engaging your online audience. Don't forget to tag the OMA @MuseumsOntario

Invite MPPs, Public Officials, and Community Leaders
