CMS Course: Collections Management
Registration is Open


Register today for the Collections Management Certificate in Museum studies course. Participants will learn information and skills required to manage acquisitions, disposals, and loans, and to create and maintain the body of documentation which is the infrastructure of collections. Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre Wins Best Cultural Organization at LCD Awards
 
The LCD Awards, known as the "Oscars for museums," highlight the most exceptional established and emerging cultural initiatives around the world. Nominees represent 50 cultural destinations from 28 countries! 

On March 4th, it was announced at the LCD Awards ceremony in Berlin that the Shingwuak Residential Schools Centre was the winner of the "Best Cultural Organization" award! 

Two other Ontario museums were nominated in other categories as Soft Power Destinations, Friar's Music Museum by Downtown Yonge BIA for Best Cultural Activation and the Ottawa Art Gallery for Best Cultural Collaboration.
