Springing from the international group that came together in 2013 at the American Museum of Natural History, New York, the Museums & Climate Change Network is a group of professionals who are concerned with extending and improving communication on the Anthropocene, including climate change, local and global environmental change, and supporting people to find ways forward in an increasingly challenging world.

Water Museums Global Network
Water museums exhibit and interpret, all around the world, a unique repository of different forms of water civilization, both natural and cultural, tangible and intangible, made of artefacts, techniques, and oral knowledge, with the aim to preserve and promote outstanding hydraulic heritage.
Today water museums are urged to communicate the value of such water heritage to large audiences in a more coordinated way, in order to better understand the global water crises and its possible solutions way.

Science Museums in Transition: Unheard Voices
New Book edited by Hooley McLaughlin and Judy Diamond
This collection contains individual expressions by museum insiders addressing a range of particular perspectives – Native American, African American, Latinx, Islamic, Israeli, Danish, white North American. These reflections provide guidance to the museum community as to how their institutions can become more thoughtful, more welcoming to diverse audiences, and more cognizant of the ways that different people incorporate science into their daily lives.
Science Museums in Transition is intended to further discussion on how museums address the political and social ramifications of science.

Parks Descriptive and Visual Dictionary of Objects now available on Nomenclature App
In 2018, the Nomenclature for Museum Cataloging web application was launched. It contains the complete Nomenclature 4.0, the harmonized vocabulary from the Parks DVD and new French equivalents. Nomenclature for Museum Cataloging has now replaced the Parks DVD.
