Elliot Lake Nuclear and Mining Museum

The Elliot Lake Nuclear and Mining Museum is currently recovering from an incident involving our building. Due to this, the museum's primary location will be closed. However, our secondary location at the Fire Tower Ranger's Heritage Centre will be open this summer!

The Fire Tower Ranger's Heritage Centre is a FREE museum housed in a cabin at the top of a beautiful lookout point. Come and learn about Fire Rangers, life in the 1960s, and more! It is also the perfect place to practice your nature photography, or go for a hike. The Centre is located on Fire Tower Road (a 10 minute drive from downtown Elliot Lake) and will be open from the late spring until Thanksgiving. Please contact us for details!
